Ezine
Are you receiving your monthly E-zine regularly? If not, please read this important
message.
Due to the addition of stricter spam filters on a variety of email clients, some
subscribers tell us that they are no longer receiving their E-zine;
a publication that they wish to receive. We'd like to let you
know there are various reasons why this usually occurs....and
it is easy to correct!
- Is your email address current and accurate?
- Not receiving your ezine? Make sure you check your spam and/or bulk folder, it is most likely there. This
may require that you go to your online webmail or look in
a folder in your inbox. If you use myarbonne.com email, please
check your junk mail or contact them to disable your spam
filter.
- Are you having trouble forwarding the ezine? When you receive the ezine, test it to make sure it works for you. 1.) "Forward" ezine.
2.) Make sure that you do not hit "reply" as
the links will not work.
3.) Delete my information before you forward. 4.) When you
receive the ezine, test it to make sure it works for you.
- Are you having trouble forwarding the ezine in Microsoft Outlook? Go under Tool- Options-Mail Format and uncheck the reference to MS Word for editing
and Rich Text.
- When I forward with Microsoft Outlook the font is HUGE, what do I do? Under Option- Mail Format- uncheck Word 2003 to edit
- Do you use a MAC and cannot forward the ezine?IMPORTANT INFO FOR MAC users!! If you are a MAC email user you can use the "forward to a friend" link at the bottom of each ezine. If you want
to actually forward the ezine, we strongly suggest signing
up for a free email service such as Yahoo! or Hotmail. The ezine is created in HTML format and forwarding
emails with a MAC email program will only forward plain text, not
HTML and graphics.
- Can't see images? Make sure that you do not have your setting on to block
HTML images. This is very common with Outlook Express (go
to Tools-Security- uncheck the download images box) and
MS Outlook. You should be notified in the header of the email if images are being
blocked by your email.
- When I forward my ezine there are spaces between my name, email, website, etc.
Why? When you received the ezine, there were no lines. When you hit forward the spaces
will be apparent, but once it sends, the lines will disappear.
- Are you using Spam Filtering Software or have you upgraded your Spam Filtering Software? If you are using spam filtering software, or if you have
upgraded it recently, you can enter the sender email address
into your filtering software "whitelist" or "approved
sender" list
to ensure you continue to receive your Monthly E-zine and
emails. If you are using spam filtering software for personal
use, please enter the Monthly E-zine email as an approved
sender.
- Are you a Yahoo.com, Hotmail.com, or AOL.com user?
Yahoo.com: Make sure you have the correct settings to forward
emails:
Go to the upper right hand corner and click on Options- General
Preferences-Message Actions. Make sure that your forward
is set like this:
Forwarding Messages: Forward
as inline text Original messages will be copied directly into the body of your
outgoing messages.
Hit forward. Delete the information from the person that sent it to you. Before
you forward, make sure you delete the "extra" pictures
that are attached - right under Subject, it will save Remove. Yahoo wants to
forward as well as attach the pictures associated. Hit Send.
Hotmail.com:
Hit Forward, you will see a few attachments in the attachment
box, Remove them. This will not affect the body of the
email, it will just remove those attached jpg files. Delete
the information from the person that sent it to you. Hit
Send.
Aol.com:
Go to aol.com to send out your emails, do not use your
control panel aol. Hit Forward and delete the information
from the person that sent it to you. You will also see
that aol puts all of the pictures at the bottom of the
ezine. Just click on each little picture, and hit delete,
as not to send those attachments. Hit Send.
